  • Request Count & Bottlenecks How many requests your website makes and what is slowing it down
  • Clear Improvement Tips Practical suggestions to make your website faster.

Step 5:Understanding Your Website Speed Test Report:

Tab 1: Summary Shows the overall picture of your website speed. It includes the Speed Visualization filmstrip, Key Metrics (page size, requests, load time), and Top Issues that need fixing.

Tab 2: Performance Metrics Shows detailed speed numbers and Google's Core Web Vitals:

  • Page Load Time, Time to First Byte, DOM Content Loaded, LCP
  • FCP, LCP, CLS, FID — all rated Good or Needs Improvement

Tab 3: Resource Analysis This tab breaks down every file your website loads — images, CSS, JavaScript, fonts. It shows which files are largest, which are slowest, and which are causing delays. This helps you identify exactly which resources need optimization.

Tab 4: Resource Waterfall This is a visual chart showing every single request your page makes, in the order they happen. It shows how long each file takes to download and whether any files are blocking other files from loading.

Tab 5: Optimization Recommendations This tab gives you a specific action list of what to fix — such as compressing images, enabling caching, minifying CSS/JS, and more. Each recommendation is rated by priority (High, Medium, Low).

Step 6: Improve Your Website Speed:

After reviewing your speed report, use the improvement tips provided by the tool to fix the issues. Improving your website speed will help you:

  • Give visitors a better experience
  • Rank higher on Google search results
  • Reduce bounce rate on your website.
