How to Manage Domains in cPanel

This article provides instructions on how to add, remove, and manage domains in cPanel.


Adding a New Domain.


1. Log into cPanel:
  • Navigate to your cPanel login page and enter your credentials.


2. Navigate to the “Domains” Section:
  • Click on “Domains” or “Addon Domains.”


3. Add a New Domain:
  • In the “Create an Addon Domain” section, enter the new domain name.
  • Specify the directory where the domain’s files will be stored.
  • Create a subdomain and FTP account if necessary.
  • Click “Add Domain.”


Managing Subdomains.

1. Navigate to “Subdomains”:
  • Click on the “Subdomains” icon in the “Domains” section.
2. Create a Subdomain:
  • Enter the subdomain name and select the parent domain.
  • Specify the document root directory.
  • Click “Create.”


Removing a Domain.

1. Navigate to “Addon Domains”:
  • Find the domain you want to remove in the list.
2. Remove the Domain:
  • Click the “Remove” button next to the domain.
  • Confirm the deletion.
