How to Change Account Password

Managing your account security is important. This guide walks you through changing your password and optionally enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added protection. 

Step 1: Click on Your Profile:

Log in to your Hostcry Client Area. In the top-right corner of the page, you will see your profile name. Click on it to open a dropdown menu. From the menu, select Change Password.

Step 2: Navigate to Change Password:

After clicking Change Password from the dropdown, you will be taken to the Change Password page. You can also reach this page from your Profile sidebar on the left, simply click Change Password listed under Your Profile. 

Step 3: Enter Your Password Details:

You will see three fields on this page:

• Existing Password: Type your current password in this field.

• New Password: Enter the new password you want to use (minimum 5 characters). You can also click Generate Password to create a strong password automatically.

• Confirm New Password: Re-type your new password exactly to confirm it. Both fields must match before you can save.

Step 4: Save Changes:

Once all three fields are correctly filled in, the Save Changes button will become active (highlighted in purple). Click it to update your password. Your new password is now set.

■ Tip: Choose a strong password that includes a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
