cPanel allows you to easily add a new domain or create a subdomain for your existing domain all from one place. This guide walks you through both processes step by step.

💡Domain: A completely new web address (e.g., mynewsite.com)

Subdomain: An extension of your existing domain (e.g., hello.mynewsite.com)

Step 1: Log in to cPanel:

Log in to your Hostcry Client Area and open your hosting account. Click on cPanel to access it. You can also go directly to yourdomain.com/cpanel and enter your cPanel username and password.

Step 2: Scroll Down to the Domains Section:

Once inside cPanel, scroll down the page until you find the Domains section. This section contains all the tools related to managing your domain names and subdomains.

ℹ️ Tip: You can use the Search box at the top of cPanel and type Domains to find it quickly.

Step 3: Click on Domains

Inside the Domains section, click on the Domains icon. This will open the Domains management page where you can see all your existing domains and create new ones.

Step 4: Click on Create a New Domain:

On the Domains page, click the Create a New Domain button. A form will appear where you can enter your domain details. Depending on what you want to add, follow one of the two options below:

Option A: Adding a New Domain:

If you want to add a completely new domain (a domain you already own from a registrar), simply type the full domain name in the field provided (for example, mynewsite.com). Make sure the domain's nameservers are already pointed to Hostcry before adding it here.

Option B: Adding a Subdomain:

If you already have a main domain (for example, aicraftedsalt.com) and want to create a subdomain, simply type the subdomain prefix followed by your main domain. For example, if you want the subdomain new.aicraftedsalt.com, type new.aicraftedsalt.com in the domain field. The word before the dot (new) is what you are adding as the subdomain.

Step 5: Click the Submit Button:

After entering your domain or subdomain name, click the Submit button. cPanel will process your request and create the domain or subdomain. You will see a success message confirming it has been added to your account

⚠️ Important: For a new domain to work, its nameservers must be pointed to Hostcry's servers. For a subdomain, no extra DNS changes are needed; it will work automatically.
